The Plant Manager will collaborate closely with departmental leaders and executive stakeholders to set productivity objectives, uphold all quality certifications, guarantee product availability for timely deliveries, and manage expenses to align with the company's financial targets. This role will also involve supporting the development and maintenance of a comprehensive manufacturing maintenance program while overseeing the Maintenance Department directly. The manager will lead plant operations across quality assurance, health and safety (HSE), personnel management, production, materials handling, maintenance, aftermarket services, and distribution.
Duties:
- Provide daily oversight and direction for all production lines and staff.
- Offer coaching and guidance to ensure that performance expectations are consistently met.
- Analyze daily production reports to identify areas for enhancement.
- Ensure the Maintenance Department effectively reduces downtime through scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and adequate spare parts inventory.
- Deliver weekly and monthly key performance indicator (KPI) reports as needed.
- Monitor and enforce safety compliance throughout the manufacturing processes.
- Assist in developing and managing the departmental budget.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant work experience is required.
- Over 10 years of experience in a production or operations management role.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in building materials manufacturing is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in challenging situations while maintaining core responsibilities.
